John Lim
John Lim is a second-year student at the School of Law from Virginia Beach, VA. He studied History and Literature at Harvard College and received an MPhil in American History at the University of Cambridge. John then worked as a history teacher at Deerfield Academy in western Massachusetts, where he taught United States history and coached introductory soccer and squash. At UVA Law, he serves as the president of the Lambda Law Alliance, an editor for the Virginia Law Review, a peer advisor for first-year students, and a research assistant for Professors Alison Gocke and Risa Goluboff. His academic interests include energy law, state and local politics, and constitutional law. In his free time, John enjoys playing violin, biking, and bird-watching.
