Malcolm Cammeron

History; Junior Fellow

Malcolm Cammeron is a PhD candidate in History at the University of Virginia where he is also a Predoctoral Fellow in the Carter G. Woodson Institute for African-American and African Studies. Previously, he was a Praxis Fellow in the digital humanities-focused Scholar’s Lab at the University of Virginia. He received a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Alabama and an M.A. in History from the University of Virginia. He is a scholar of African American, Environmental, and Urban History and his current project examines the intersection of urban-environmental inequalities and social movements in the U.S. South.
